EoI-Provision of Consultancy Services for Recruitment of Financial Modeling Specialist

PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR RECRUITMENT OF FINANCIAL MODELING SPECIALIST

ADVERTISEMENT

  1. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received an additional financing from International Development Association (IDA) for implementation of Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project (SMMRP). It is intended that part of this proceeds will be applied to cover eligible payments under the contract for provision of consultancy services for recruitment of financial modeling specialist.
  2. The Consultant among others shall train Government staff and other beneficiary institutions on Financial Modelling of Mining Projects so as to be able to develop cash flows and to make a projection of expected financial benefits of mining projects. The time frame for implementation of this assignment is three (3) calendar months.
  3. The Ministry of Minerals (MoM) now invites eligible consulting firm with qualified staff to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants should provide information indicating that they have required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The short listing criteria shall consider; the consultant eligibility, the description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc. Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of joint venture or sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications.

PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR RECRUITMENT OF RESOURCE MODELING SPECIALIST

PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO UNDERTAKE A STUDY IN MINERAL SMUGGLING

RE-ADVERSTISMENT

 1. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received an additional financing from International Development Association (IDA) for implementation of Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project (SMMRP). It is intended that part of this proceeds will be applied to cover eligible payments under the contract for provision of consultancy services to undertake a study in Minerals smuggling.

2. The Consultant among others shall research on the minerals smuggling techniques and come out with proposals on how to stop smuggling of minerals for the purpose of enabling the Government to collect its appropriate revenue. The time frame for implementation of this assignment is three (3) calendar months.

3. The Ministry of Minerals (MoM) now invites eligible consulting firm with qualified staff to indicate their interest in providing the services.   2.  The Ministry of Minerals (MoM) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of Local Area Network (LAN) and Information Communication Technology (ICT) equipment for Zonal and Residents Mines Offices as listed below:-

EoI-Provision of Consultancy Services for Preparation of Strategic Business Plan to Transform TGC and Arrange Partnership Between TGC and International Gem Centers

  1. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received an additional financing from International Development association (IDA) for implementation of Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project (SMMRP). It is intended that part of these proceeds will be applied to cover eligible payments under the contract for provision of consultancy services for preparation of strategic business plan to transform Tanzania Gemological Centre (TGC) and arrange partnership between TGC and International Gem Centers.
  2. The Consultant shall prepare a Strategic Business Plan which will act as a transformation tool for the Centre and make arrangements for it to have partnership with reputable international Gem Centers around the World. The Strategic Business Plan should aim to facilitate the Center to be technically and financially capable to execute its functions and generate revenue for it to become self-sustaining. The time frame for implementation of this assignment is three (3) calendar months.
